AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title is a certification program designed to recognize dogs with good manners and responsible owners. It's a 10-step test that assesses a dog's obedience, social skills, and ability to behave well around people and other dogs. Passing the test earns the dog an AKC CGC title, which can be useful for various reasons like therapy dog certification or even housing benefits.
