10 Weeks Old

It’s hard to believe that this litter is already 10 weeks old! All but sweet Maggie have gone on to their wonderful furever homes, and we couldn’t be happier for them and their new families.

This litter was such a joy to raise, but what made it even more special was getting to meet so many of you in person—people I’ve talked to for over a year, waiting for your perfect puppy. Seeing the excitement, love, and anticipation as you finally met your new family member was truly heartwarming.

We’ve had the privilege of keeping Maggie with us a little longer, and it has only reaffirmed my decision to choose her as a therapy prospect. She’s an incredible puppy, and I can’t wait to see the impact she’ll have on the lives of those who need her most.

Following along with all their adventures is the best part—thank you to everyone who has shared updates already! Wishing each of these puppies a lifetime of love, companionship, and happy tails ahead.

9 Weeks Old & Off to New Adventures

Nine weeks have flown by, and most of our sweet pups have begun their new journeys with their families. Saying goodbye is always the hardest part, but it’s also what makes this hobby so rewarding. The love we have for this breed is matched only by the joy of hearing how these pups brighten their new homes.

For now, we’ll soak up a few more days with the last three before they, too, start their next chapter. Raising them is bittersweet, but knowing they’re so loved makes it all worth it. ❤️

8 weeks!

Eight weeks already? Time sure flies! Tomorrow is vet day for the pups — shots, microchips, and check-ups are on the schedule. Some will be heading to their new homes soon, while I get to love on a few a little longer. It’s been such a fun and memorable journey with this crew!

Our sweet puppies are now 7 weeks old, and they’re growing more curious and confident by the day! This week, they were introduced to crates, starting their journey toward feeling safe and comfortable in their own spaces. It’s amazing how quickly they’re learning — some are already curling up for naps in their crates like pros!

They’ve also had their first adventures exploring the outdoor grass, and watching them romp, sniff, and play has been nothing short of adorable. Their little personalities are shining through, and we can’t wait to see them continue to blossom.

The countdown to their forever homes is getting closer, and we’re soaking up every precious moment with these cuties. ❤️

6 Weeks Old Today!

Our sweet puppies are officially 6 weeks old, and they just keep getting cuter by the day! This is such a fun age—full of personality, playfulness, and plenty of tail wags. They’re becoming more independent, exploring the world around them, and, of course, getting lots of love and socialization.

We’re starting to see their little personalities shine—some are bold and adventurous, while others are more laid-back and cuddly. Watching them grow and develop is such a joy!

In just a couple of weeks, they’ll be ready to start their new adventures with their forever families. Until then, we’re soaking up every moment with these sweet babies!

Big Changes at Five Weeks!

Five weeks old, and these little ones are keeping us on our toes! Every day brings something new—more confidence, more playfulness, and definitely more mischief. They’ve discovered that humans give the best belly rubs, toys are meant to be conquered, and meal times are the highlight of the day.

Their little personalities are becoming so distinct—some are bold adventurers, while others are all about the cuddles. Watching them interact with each other and explore their surroundings is the best part of this stage.

It won’t be long before they start preparing for their big adventures in their forever homes, but for now, we’re soaking in every puppy kiss and wiggly tail.

Dixie’s Babies Are 4 Weeks Old! 🐾

We can’t believe these little ones are already 4 weeks old! Time is flying, and they’re hitting some exciting milestones:

🥣 First Taste of Kibble: We’ve started adding softened puppy kibble to their formula as their tiny teeth come in. They’re loving the new texture!

💧 Water Introduction: Learning to lap from a bowl like the big dogs!

🎾 Playtime Galore: The puppies are more active every day—tumbling, chasing, and discovering their voices.

🚽 Potty Training Begins: We’ve introduced a designated potty area to help them build good habits early. Smart little learners!

These next few weeks are when their personalities really start to shine. Stay tuned for more puppy fun!

Three Weeks of Puppy Cuteness!

Our litter is officially three weeks old, and they’re becoming more playful by the day! Their wobbly steps are getting steadier, and they’re starting to engage with each other—batting paws, wagging tails, and even letting out the tiniest barks.

Teething has begun, so they’re starting to nibble on anything within reach (including their siblings). This stage is so much fun because they’re a little less fragile, making puppy snuggles even sweeter.

We love watching their personalities bloom—each one is so special! Stay tuned for more updates as they continue to grow!

Two Weeks Old: Eyes Opening & First Wobbly Steps!

Our sweet puppies are officially two weeks old, and big changes are happening! Their little eyes are starting to open, giving us the first glimpses of those precious expressions. It won’t be long before they’re fully aware of the world around them!

They’ve also begun taking their first wobbly steps. Though still unsteady, they’re determined to move around, making every little stumble absolutely adorable. Watching them grow and develop is such a joy, and we can’t wait to see their personalities start to shine in the coming weeks!

One week of puppy snuggles! ❤️ Dixie and Kenzo’s little ones have spent their first week doing what they do best—eating, sleeping, and growing! It’s incredible to watch them change each day, and Dixie has been the most attentive, loving mama. These little Labs already have us wrapped around their tiny paws! Can’t wait to see them continue to thrive.

A Day to Remember: Dixie’s Labor & Delivery

Some days are unforgettable, and Dixie’s labor and delivery was definitely one of them. We started the day with an appointment for her X-ray to find out how many puppies we could expect. Little did we know, she had her own plans in mind!

As soon as we got home and settled, I could tell something was off. I took her temperature, and sure enough—she was in labor. What followed was 24 long hours of waiting, watching, and preparing as Dixie worked through the process of bringing her babies into the world.

In the end, Dixie delivered 10 puppies. Sadly, one perfect yellow boy was stillborn—a bittersweet reminder of how precious and delicate life is. Despite that heartache, we were blessed with 9 healthy, beautiful puppies to start falling in love with right away.

It was an emotional, exhausting, and incredibly rewarding day. Dixie was amazing, and her strength continues to make us so proud. These moments remind us why we do what we do and how special it is to be part of bringing new life into the world.

Here’s to Dixie, her sweet litter, and the memories we’ll hold forever. 💕

Remi’s First Snow Day in Georgia!

We just received the sweetest update from Remi’s family—her first snow day! ❄️ She had a blast exploring the snow, leaving tiny paw prints and chasing snowflakes. Seeing her so happy makes our hearts melt. Stay warm, Remi!
