All month long, adoption fees are waived, and this Saturday is our biggest push yet. We’ll have extra adoption counselors, volunteers, and support to help as many animals as possible get into loving homes.
If you’ve ever said, “Maybe next time,” THIS IS THAT TIME. Please come.
💔 Why it matters:
July has been incredibly hard. From July 1–10 alone, 675 animals came. That’s an average of 68 animals arriving per day including:
🐶 35 dogs per day
🐱 31 cats per day
Even though adoptions have been amazing, rescues are working hard, and reunifications are happening... the flow of animals coming in has not slowed.
📣 We need your help. Even if you can’t adopt, please share this post. Every share is a lifeline. Many pets are vetted and can leave the same day if you're their match.
🎉 Adoption fees are waived all month long, but the adoption process remains the same to ensure the best match possible.
💡 And remember: Microchipping your pet is one of the most important ways to help bring them home if they ever get lost.
➡️ Visit us any day from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. (please arrive by 5:30 if you're ready to adopt).

This event - and this moment - really matters.
Please help us help them. ❤️

🙏 If you’re thinking about surrendering your pet, please understand:
➡️ You know your pet better than anyone.
➡️ You are their best advocate.
➡️ Rehoming directly gives your pet the best chance at landing in the right home.
When a pet is brought to the shelter, they become one of hundreds. In a noisy, unfamiliar environment, even the best pets can shut down, making it harder for them to stand out. 🐾
