Hello Friends,
I have been debating on telling this incident because I realize one persons behavior is not a reflection on the whole.
I made a definite learning mistake yesterday while setting up for this sale. Out of the normal procedure setting up the table for signing the release of liability forms, that you all know now why this was so necessary for this particular part of The Dalles History Home.
Focusing on that, I left my start up till cash in a bank zipper blue money bag, unattended. Thinking when I went to look for it I must have put it behind a pillow or something for a few minutes till I could get back to it.
Well unfortunately it has been no where to be found. If someone did happen to pick it up they would know without a doubt it was mine as it was full of $1’s, $5,s and 10’s.
I am kicking myself for my lack of focus. I am avoiding believing someone intentionally took it. I know in my heart that if someone did find it that knows me and our sales that they wouldn’t have hesitated to get it right to me.
I guess I am sharing this, incase anyone spotted it and could rest my mind to stop looking for it. This is not about the loss of money. This is about soothing my mind that no one saw it out and it could still be somewhere in the house or someone saw it in the open and fairly sure it is gone and I can rest my mind to that.
Was amazing as always to see you all this past few hot days. We value you coming out to these sales! I say all the time if you haven’t heard it from me. You are my Bosses and I couldn’t be more grateful than to be working for you! ❤️
