Oak Bays Lit Up With Grace is confirmed in foal to LM Country Fox On The Run, for a May 12, 2027 foal. Fox is a 2023 AMHA World Reserve Champion Sr Stallion AOTE Level 2, and is proudly owned by Mona Hodkiewicz. He is sired by AMHA World Supreme Halter Horse and World Grand Senior Stallion, D&S Im A Country Boy. This foal will be AMHA/AMHR/ASPC registered. My vet confirmed via ultrasound and she thinks it’s a girl. Man I hope she’s right! This will be our only foal for 2027.

I have a mare that has been colicky for two days so the vet came out to ultrasound and xray. We came up with a treatment plan but part of the treatment she wanted to try was acupuncture. I found it very interesting and figured what would it hurt. Not sure when you should see results but during the process, some spots the mare really enjoyed, like on her abdomen and rump, but not so much her legs. Think she thought it was flies biting. Just never thought of acupuncture for treating colic. Pretty cool tho.

I wanted to share this cool fan I purchased off Amazon for my one horse shed that has no electricity. This fan run off a solar panel. Now the only thing that sucks is at night when it runs out of a charge, which is rare, but never it starts charging again, it doesn’t turn back on. You have to turn it on manually again. This thing was s awesome and puts out good airflow. I bough another to put by the hay feeder to help keep the flies at bay. Highly recommended!

Luchetta’s Red Hot Coal
Still looking for his new home. Only asking $1000 as he’s nervous, but not dangerous. As you can see, he’s eager to please but just nervous about being touched. I have found that he does really well if you reward him with the bit size training nuggets. He loves his cookies. Lots of videos of this guy and really can do a lot. On the baby front, little miss poopaloosa, Princess, is starting to make some changes. He rear is starting to soften, she’s starting g to rub her b***y, and her udder is starting to fill and shrink in preperation for milk production. So probably mid to late August we should hopefully see a baby.
