Fireworks are fun for us—but frightening for our furry friends!

Keep your pets safe, calm, and comfortable this Independence Day with these quick tips:

🐶 Keep them indoors
Even if your pet is usually fine outside, fireworks can cause panic. Bring them in before the noise starts.

🔒 Secure your space
Close windows, doors & pet doors. Scared pets may try to escape—even from fenced yards!

💡 Create a safe zone
Set up a quiet room with familiar bedding, toys, and calming music or white noise.

🆔 Check ID tags & microchips
The 4th is one of the top days for lost pets. Make sure your contact info is up to date!

🚫 No people food or glow sticks
Barbecue scraps, alcohol, and party items can be toxic. Keep snacks & décor out of paw’s reach.

🐾 Walk before dark
Get in a good walk or play session before fireworks start—it helps burn off anxious energy.

💊 Ask your vet about calming options
If your pet gets extremely anxious, talk to your vet about safe, temporary solutions.
