SO proud of my speed girls tonight 🤎🧡

Both geldings were fabulous and handled the surrounding better than I could imagine. Kicked off the first haul of the season to open ride at KCYF (footing was GREAT btw) and I’m impressed to say the least. Beyond happy with how tonight went and so excited for the rest of the summer.

Hay Chix nets are a fan fave at SPH! From using them in the trailer, daily stalling, turnout, and at shows, these hay nets have never let us down. We love the filling ease, the fun colored ropes, and the material that is much softer on their teeth and lips. They are by far the best bet on the market for keeping the hay waste down and keeping the horses eating longer!

A little reminder for horse owners: foundation matters.

I also offer foal training, and one of the biggest things I preach is starting them BEFORE problems and opinions start. Don’t wait until you have a giant, disrespectful 3yr old that’s never learned patience, boundaries, or how to think through pressure. Trust me, as a trainer, we don’t appreciate those and most will charge more for the extra handling we have to do.

The small things you put time into now become the horse you enjoy later. Halter breaking, leading, tying, picking up feet, hauling, standing quiet, respecting space…it all adds up.

Setting a solid foundation early makes the future so much smoother for both horse and rider, no matter the discipline.
