Laughing Dogs was founded by Molly Cisco in November of 2014 in Lake Mills, WI. Molly's dream was to create a fun, safe, and enriching dog daycare that exceeded the standards of many dog daycares. In March of 2015, Molly added dog training services to enhance the experience of her clients, and to offer additional services to the community. She brought in Jamie Schwoerer, owner and lead trainer of

Kodiak's Canine Connection, LLC. The relationship between these two small business owners and companies grew and became mutually beneficial. In February of 2017, Molly very unexpectedly passed away, leaving the future of the daycare she had worked so hard to build in a state of uncertainty. After working with Molly's family extensively, Jamie was able to purchase the daycare in late March of 2017, and was able to reopen the doors on April 3, 2017. One of Molly's dreams was to continue to expand the services offered at the daycare, and to continue to allow it to grow and become an active participant in the Lake Mills community. Jamie is working to keep Molly's dream alive by working to offer additional services beyond daycare and training. Laughing Dogs now offers grooming services as well as expanded training services, and we will be working to offer seminars, summer (and maybe winter) camps on various topics, and we would like to expand our retail area to meet the growing need for specialty foods and treats in Lake Mills. None of this would have been possible without the seed that Molly Cisco planted, and Laughing Dogs will forever remember Molly's influence not only on the daycare, but on the community as a whole. Jamie is excited and grateful to be able to continue this legacy, and to continue to build on Molly's dream.

Ages: Franklin is 7 years old & has been coming to Laughing Dogs since 2019! Murphy is 2 years old & has been coming to Laughing Dogs since 2023! ☺️
Franklin’s Favorite Activities: hanging out with his BFFS, soaking up all the sun in the summer, snuggling up in the winter, & getting lots of pets from his handlers! 🥰
