Name: Bunnie
Got out in Lake Jackson near Shy Pond. She is very friendly but skiddish when it comes to strangers. Responds to her name or nickname "Bun Buns"

URGENT PLEA!!!!

Diseases spread through animal waste, so we have to change out everyone's litter daily - meaning we go through a lot of litter. With all the kitties in our care, we go through litter like crazy to ensure everyone has a clean and healthy habitat to stay in. 🐱

We're running low over here at The Mad Cattery and we are asking for some help! If you're willing, Tractor Supply carries 40lbs bags for $6.99. If you're able to donate, please drop them off here:

📣 Alright y’all… the weekly schedule has entered the chat.

Here are our clinic hours for March 9th – March 13th at SPCA-BC Spay & Neuter Clinic.

A few friendly reminders from your local clinic crew:


🐾 Pre-Surgery Reminder 🐾

To keep your pet safe during anesthesia:
No food, no treats, and no water after midnight the night before surgery.

Even small amounts can delay or cancel a procedure for safety reasons.

Cats must arrive in a secure carrier, cage, or crate. This protects your pet and our staff.

🐾 Surgical intake: 7:00am–8:00am (yes… it’s early… we promise the pets handle it better than the humans)
🐾 Discharge times:
Canines – 2:30pm
Felines – 3:00pm

Please keep in mind that discharge times can shift depending on patient recovery and how the day unfolds in surgery.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and support as we continue working to help shelter pets and community pets alike. Every surgery makes a difference. 🐶

Sometimes the best matches happen from across the country.

Goliath, one of our sweet pups, has an incredible adopter waiting for them out of state -- a veteran who searched for the perfect addition to his family. Goliath fits the bill, and we couldn't be more excited about the life waiting for him in the Midwest.

The only barrier? Transport costs. Goliath's adopter lives in a transport-deadzone, save for one option that exceeds our transport budget. To get Goliath home, we need to raise $300 to help cover the cost of his journey.
