We have had two beautiful adoptions this morning at the Western Arizona Humane Society! Miss Daisy and Pepper found their forever homes and we could not be more thrilled for them! We wish you and your new families the very best!

Come on down to Petsmart in Lake Havasu. We have kitten needing purr-ever homes. Don’t forget Wahs will be at Petsmart from 10:00 to 1:00 with puppies and doggies looking for a best friend to give lots of hugs and love.

We absolutely love it when old friends come to visit — and a few days ago, we had the joy of welcoming a very special lady back through our doors!

Kona (formerly Mona), one of our longest residents at 578 days in the shelter, stopped by with her amazing mom to drop off some heartfelt thank-yous, sweet “Kona kisses,” and even some delicious donut treats!

Kona’s new owner shared how this beautiful girl has completely changed her life in the most wonderful ways — and just wanted to show her appreciation. 💕

All of us here at the Western Arizona Humane Society can truly attest: the love of a shelter dog is like no other. It’s an experience that touches your soul. We encourage everyone to stop by, say hello, and meet some of our furry friends — who just might change your life, too.

We are so grateful to Cherri for donating cozy flat cat beds for our furry friends here at the shelter! 🐱✨ These soft beds mean the world to our kitties, giving them a warm, comfy place to curl up while they wait for their forever homes.
