We recently requested sturdy chewing toys for larger dogs, and our community is responding. We are starting to receive and distribute these toys to our pups. Chewing helps reduce stress, alleviate boredom, and maintain good oral health. Thank you to Lake Havasu for their contribution.♥️

While Sweetpea may initially appear shy, he is eager to receive hugs and snuggles. Although his grooming may be overdue, his charming personality shines through. Come meet Sweetpea today.

This vibrant Pop Art Pet Collaborative, created by talented 8th to 10th-grade students at the Pam Reinke Studio, will be auctioned off at our Top Hats and Tails Dinner on May 2nd at London Bridge Resort. This incredible artwork was generously donated to support our mission of transforming the lives of local homeless animals. Sweet little Ryder has left the building… straight into the arms of his forever family! 💙

🐾💙 The Last Two Waiting 💙🐾
These two handsome boys are the final ones from their litter still searching for forever homes—and we can’t understand why.

Their siblings have all found loving families, but these sweet boys are still here, watching each visitor walk past their kennel, hoping this time it’s their turn.

They’ve grown up side by side—sharing toys, cuddles, and puppy dreams. And even though they’re getting bigger, their hearts are still full of that same playful, gentle love they’ve had from day one.

Each has his own unique personality—one might steal your socks, the other your heart—but both will give you unconditional love, loyal companionship, and endless tail wags.

They don’t understand why they’re still waiting. But we do know this: the families who open their hearts to these boys won’t just be adopting a pet… they’ll be gaining a best friend for life.

Let’s not let them grow up in the shelter. Let’s find them the homes they so deserve.

At just 1 year old, Sassy has already shown more strength and spirit than most dogs do in a lifetime. True to her name, she’s spunky, silly, and full of life—but it’s her unshakable resilience that makes her truly unforgettable. 🐾

Sassy lives with a condition called megaesophagus, which means she has to eat in a special way—upright, like the little queen she is. And thanks to a beautiful new throne donated by R&R Pet Sanctuary, she now dines and lounges in comfort and style. 👑

After lunch, you’ll find her relaxing in her royal seat, gazing out with those soulful eyes… still waiting. Waiting for the one thing her big heart longs for most—a forever home.

Sassy doesn’t let her condition slow her down. She plays, she cuddles, and she brings laughter wherever she goes. Her goofy charm is matched only by the depth of her love. All she needs is someone willing to understand her unique needs—and in return, she’ll give you every ounce of love she has.

🎉🐾 Double the Happy Tails! 🐾🎉

A big congrats to Cream and Peaches on finding their forever homes today! 💕🏡

Cream has been with us for a little while, patiently waiting for her perfect match—and today, her wait is finally over! She’ll be heading home with her new family and will undergo a much-needed dental procedure at the end of the month, which will help her feel so much better. 🦷💪

Peaches, on the other hand, didn’t waste any time! She was a recent surrender and was with us for less than 3 hours before charming her way into her new daddy’s heart. Talk about love at first sight! 😍🍑

We’re so excited for these sweet girls and grateful to the amazing adopters who gave them a second chance.

🐶✨ Meet Shorty! ✨🐶
This sweet squish-faced hunk is Shorty, a 6-year-old English Bulldog with a heart of gold and a whole lot of love to give! 💙

Shorty is currently looking for a forever home, and while he may need a little extra TLC, he's more than worth it. Our vets at WAHS are recommending bilateral entropion surgery to help make him more comfortable—and the surgery will be fully covered with his adoption. Once he’s adopted, we’ll schedule the procedure with our doctors so he can start his new life feeling his best!

Due to his unique needs and bulldog personality, we do not recommend a home with children—he’ll thrive best in a calm, adult-only environment where he can be the center of attention.

Shorty’s got that classic bulldog charm: waddles walks, soulful eyes, and a goofy, lovable personality that’ll steal your heart in no time. 🐾

🎉 What an AMAZING day at the shelter! 🎉

We’re beyond thrilled to share that 10 wonderful animals found their forever homes today, and 2 lucky pets were reunited with their owners! 💕 That’s 12 happy endings in one day—and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Even more exciting—two of today’s adoptions were Diamond and Havoc, both long-term residents who have been waiting so patiently for their chance. Watching them head off to start their new lives was emotional, joyful, and everything we hope for every day. 🐾💖

Each adoption means a fresh start, a new chapter, and so much love ahead. And those sweet reunions? Pure magic. There’s nothing better than seeing tails wag and families come back together.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who adopted, supported, shared our posts, or just cheered us on. Your kindness helps make days like this possible.
