‘Tis the season 😫

Tick season is here, and protecting your horses is important. Ticks can spread illnesses like Lyme disease and anaplasmosis, but a few simple steps can help reduce the risk.

🐴 Check horses regularly for ticks and remove them promptly.
🌿 Keep pastures and fence lines trimmed, clear away brush, and limit access to wooded areas where ticks thrive.
🛡️ Use horse-safe topical insecticides labeled for tick control before turnout or trail riding through tall grass and brush. Be sure to carefully follow all label directions and warnings.

Prevention is one of the best ways to keep your horses healthy this season!

Great news! We currently have stall and pasture opportunity for geldings available. We are not able to accommodate additional mares at this time.

Trail riding season is upon us and we know you will love our tractor path and the Lake Elmo Park Reserve trail system across the street.

Horse trail update! Horse trails are now open at Pine Point Regional Park and Lake Elmo Park Reserve again.

Knappogue Farm in Lake Elmo currently has pasture and stall boarding opportunities for geldings. We are close to the trail system at Lake Elmo Park Reserve along with the Washington County Fairgrounds which hosts many local shows of all disciplines. Please join us for your summer riding endeavors.
