We grieve our fur babies like children. Please please know it’s ok. It will come in waves. Today I’m drowning in her memory and it’s ok. There’s no time limit on how to say goodbye to them. 3 months later I miss her like it was yesterday. I had to make that choice. It’s a difficult loving decision. I’m here if you need a friend. I miss her some days more than others. She was my bestest. My constant. The secret keeper, my reason to live. My heart has a permanent hole where she was daily. It’s different now. And that’s ok.

I promise from my whole heart, it’s worth it. Never have I ever loved a dog so fiercely or been loved back so much. She was my whole heart. Go rest in the eternal sunshine sweet puppy girl. Gone from my side, but never ever from my heart.

Happy new year's eve. Please be safe out there tonight. Most cell phones have the option of adding emergency info and contacts, you should make a note how many pets you have at home and if any are special needs or something of the like. It's good info to have if a first responder needs to help you!

PSA ***RANT*** I walk barefoot most of the summer when I get the chance, which is usually while walking my dogs or even my clients dogs. I do it because, one, I can. It's summer, YAY!! Two, and the most important reason; IF ITS TOO HOT FOR MY TOUGH BARE FEET, IT'S TOO HOT FOR A DOG'S BARE PAWS! If your dog is pulling you towards the grassy or shadier places & you see me sprinting across the pavement saying "ouch, hot!!", you should listen to your dog. If I see you doing it, we'll have to have a talk about cruelty to your dog. PLEASE be smart about the heat & your animals. Whatever you feel, it's twice as bad for them..
