Update: deposits have been received on all spring doelings and six bucklings.

I only have 3 bucklings left to place.
Remaining three are ADGA/AGS registerable or available as unregistered at a reduced $.
One buckling REALLY should go as a future breeding buck, as he's far too nice as a pet.

I've kept my quail chicks in the house, as the weather has been swinging from frigid to fabulous since they hatched 9 days ago (less fabulous than frigid).

They will be evicted to the quail shed brooder this weekend, as my order of Cornish Cross Meat chicks is arriving early next week.

LOOK at some of the baby plumage that is surfacing! I am more than excited to work with these new colors and patterns moving forward into my 4th year of Coturnix.

Cae/Johnes negative 3/2025, disbudded, cdt and booster given before leaving, on coccidiosis preventative (baycox), all but one are ADGA and AGS registerable.

Coturnix Quail are now in Lockdown!

Eggs came from both Tennessee and Florida during some not so great weather, and I envisioned the USPS punting the fragile boxes clear down the conveyor belts...

Candled and removed the duds and still have a pretty solid batch hoping to hatch and thrive in the next couple days.

My course correction to improve my lines HOPEFULLY will include Jumbo Ginger, Jumbo Pansy, Jumbo Fawn, Jumbo Celadon (various color patterns), Red Ranger Celadon and a few others.

Not counting my chicks before they hatch, but this has been a LONG process on a waiting list spanning over 3 months. Hoping to report back with some happy news....
