Tearing down each slatmill. Cleaning them by hand and replacing all the bolts, washers and nuts.

Sides are done!

Next is the bottom of the slatmills and replacing all the bolts in the track.

One step closer to opening and I’m so excited!

One side primed and painted. Three more to go!

Ordered new sides for the slatmills. Going with lexan this time. More expensive but less likely to crack over time like plexiglass. Fingers crossed I can open back up by the end of July. Lots of work still to do. Have to put the finishing touches on the bus. Take the slatmills apart, sand and paint them.

Renovations are slowly coming together! Hopefully be done this weekend or next if things run smoothly.
The bus will be so much cooler after it’s done.

I’m so excited to bring something new to Lake City!

Why does your dog need a dog gym?

Exercise and enrichment should be offered daily to your pup.

Slatmills are low impact and perfect for any pup, even seniors.

Sometimes we work too much and honestly who can run as fast as their dog?

Maybe you had a surgery which keeps you from running or walking your dog.

Your dog could be overweight and your vet said they need to lose a few pounds.

Or you have a reactive dog. I work with those too.

The slatmills are dog powered so your pup chooses how fast they want to go.

I only use positive reinforcement through words, pets and toys. We will break out the treats if need be.

And the best part is you get to join your best friend to cheer them on!

There are only a few rules to the bus:
Please make sure you have signed the waiver.
If your dog is people reactive please let me know.
Shoes must be worn in the bus.
Kids are allowed on the bus but may not touch the slatmills as there are moving parts that can cause injuries to little fingers. They must be seated at all times for their safety.
I must sit in front of your dog until they are comfortable on the slatmill.
If you have more than one pup each pup will get their own first session. Please only bring out one pup at a time. It’s crucial for your dog to have their own private experience their first time.
Most of all have a positive attitude because if you’re nervous your dog will be too!

I’m officially moved to Lake City! The bus is going to be under renovations and I’ll let you know as soon as I’m open again.

We have limited availability next week!

Our last day to run pups is Thursday morning.

Send us a message if you’d like to fit your pup into our schedule before we move.

Once we move, the bus will be under renovations on the inside to get ready for new clients and rescues.

Hope to be up and running by the middle of June or beginning of July.
