A huge THANK YOU to the incredible volunteers from Wolverine Power Cooperative who spent the day helping out at Missaukee Humane Society & LeDoulx Veterinary Clinic!

From landscaping and painting to washing dogs and folding laundry, your hard work made such a visible difference…our grounds (and our pups!) have never looked better. We’re so grateful for your time, teamwork, and dedication to helping our building shine.

We’re still finishing up the landscaping around our new sign, if anyone has any larger rocks they’d like to donate, we’d love to put them to good use! You can drop them off during open hours or message us to arrange a time.

What an incredible night!

I want to personally thank everyone who helped make our annual Spayghetti & No Balls such a success. Because of your generosity, we raised $18,184 for the animals at

A huge thank-you to our amazing event committee and volunteers, all the generous sponsors, every single business who donated items, our MHS staff and board of directors, our emcee Devin Graham, Lori McDonald and the kitchen volunteers, and every single person who came out to support us.

I’m truly humbled by the kindness and dedication shown, not just from Missaukee County, but from all the surrounding communities.

Nights like this remind me how strong we are together for animals.
