One of MN SNAP’s lasting partnerships is with River Bluff Humane Society in Red Wing. Shelter Manager Liz Zolondek shares, “Working with like-minded professionals at MN SNAP makes it easy to share frustrations, successes, and share tips and resources that can help both organizations out.”
RBHS works to educate pet owners about why spay and neuter surgeries help to reduce unwanted litters and limit the number of animals in shelters like RBHS. Oftentimes pet owners learn something new, and Liz says, “Those are the people that will hold themselves accountable better the next time they bring an animal into their world, because they might have just learned something from us or MN SNAP. Making better owners makes for happier and healthier pets.”
Plus, when MN SNAP visits, “We get to see them work their magic!” ✨
Long-lasting partnerships like this help MN SNAP to show up regularly for communities like Red Wing. With each visit, we can treat 30-35 animals, and our impact multiples as the years go by. Thank you to River Bluff Humane Society for your work alongside MN SNAP! 🩵
