It’s been another busy day at Bayou South Equine Center

From heat checks and preg checks to joint injections, our crew has stayed on the move all day long. We even squeezed in taking care of a sweet little colic patient who stole everyone’s hearts 💙

Busy days are better when they’re spent helping horses feel their best!

And let’s not forget Faye who’s just here for the sunshine ☀️

Happy Finally Friday from Bayou South Equine Center 🐎🌦️

This week included:
• muddy boots
• short lunch breaks
• cutest foals
• “quick” appointments that were definitely not quick
• embryo transfer
• heat checks/ pregnancy checks
• and enough caffeine to float the whole barn 😂

But we made it through another busy week doing what we love most — caring for your horses.
We hope everyone has a safe and relaxing weekend… because Monday’s already loading. 😉

Y’all help us welcome this little stud muffin 💙

He checked in at Bayou South Equine Center for a little extra TLC… but mostly just to steal hearts and act like he runs the place already.

Tiny but mighty, a little wobbly, and 100% convinced he deserves snacks, scratches, and constant attention. We’re just the hired help at this point.

He’s getting all the love, care, and “please don’t do that” talks we can give — and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We love seeing the next generation get hands-on and curious about equine care! 🐴✨

Today, Dr Lacey took the time to show some young horse lovers how an equine power float works and why dental care is so important for our horses. From explaining the tools to walking through the process. This reminds us that investing in education today helps create better horsemen tomorrow. 💙
