Back from the Master National and would like to congratulate Rachel Anderson and Robert Anderson on their little girl Dixie on their Master National plate and Justin and Murphy Ho**er and their Big girl Dixie on their Master National plate.
Both dogs did great work throughout the event but I will cover a really cool story about big Dxiie. The event was in Paducah and as I ran the fifth series my emotions got the best of me on the honor. No one saw or could have ever guessed but that hill we were on was where her grandmother Libby was retired in the second series of the Grand. Derrick Watson did something that day that will always stay with me Libby double handled at the Grand and he let me finish the series. That was the way she went out with a bird in her mouth. For my friends that judge remember we never know the circumstances of which the dog and handler are dealing with.
The second part is this is where Dixie's mom Dottie passed her first Grand with me which she murdered.
Well Big Dixie stepped up to that fifth series having been reminded at the same church as her mom was about sitting to those pesky pheasants. Big Dixie loves her some fliers. She sat and killed yet another series and got her plate.
Thank you to all of my clients, friends which are more like family, judges, board and importantly my amazing wife and 2 little girls at home that deal with this crazy life.
