Okay let’s have a little heart to heart about Charlie.

I understand that his adoption fee is raised, but that doesn’t mean everyone needs to comment about it. This cat was bought for several thousand dollars. A $500 rehoming fee isn’t out of the question. If you don’t agree with it, then you are welcome to adopt any of our other cats with our special this month.

Charlie is a high maintenance Persian cat. He needs an owner that has money to spend on grooming and food for his coat. Just because *you* don’t think he’s worth it, doesn’t mean that someone else has that same opinion. We’ve adopted out a few purebred cats at this adoption fee. So please, stop commenting that his adoption fee is too high. Other rescues do this too. Just because Hobo Hotel doesn’t do it doesn’t mean what I’m asking for is unreasonable. They have $250k in funding a year… we can barely break 10k.

His adoption fee will help pay a very hefty vet bill.

All in all. Please keep your opinions on our adoption fees to yourself. We have many adoption specials during the year. We don’t need to focus on the one high dollar cat that is up for rehoming.

✨RESIDENT HIGHLIGHT✨

Sunny is a 2 year old golden girl! Quite a rare sight in the cat world. Sunny was the only cat to a little old lady that sadly passed away. She’s been through quite a few challenges with us. She likes being an only cat and she has hissed at my 5 year olds rambunctious demeanor quite a few times. So she would probably be better with older kids that don’t have as much energy. She is super sweet with adults and is absolutely ready to get out of the rescue!

She is chipped, vaccinated, fixed, and dewormed !
