Our nonprofit, K9 Freedom Pathways, will be offering $15 microchips at Boo Benefit on October 31st!

Please share so we can get this in front of as many local pet owners as possible!

Is your pet microchipped? 🐾

Collars and tags can fall off, but a microchip gives your pet a permanent form of identification that can help get them home if they're ever lost.

We'll be offering $15 microchips for both dogs and cats! Lifetime registration is included, and no appointment is needed.

Help us spread the word! 🧡

Dog model or ESA? Brixton says he can do both! 😂

We spent this session working on Brixton’s obedience around distractions, helping him become a more reliable, well-mannered companion for his dad. He’s doing great, and we’ve really enjoyed working with this sweet boy!

Meet Brixton 💙 This sweet boy is here for a specially curated Board & Train because he has a pretty important role ahead of him as an ESA for his dad.

His program is being built around the two of them and what life together needs to look like. We’re excited to get to know him, help him grow into that role, and share a little of his journey along the way.

Meet Elodie 🤎

This tiny girl arrived this week to begin a pretty big journey. Elodie will be with us until spring, learning everything she needs to know to become a service dog.

She’s getting settled in and starting with the foundations. Over the coming months, you’ll get to watch us build the confidence, neutrality, public access skills, and reliability that a working service dog truly needs.

Welcome to K9 Freedom, Elodie. 🐾

Yesterday, Cornbread joined us aboard the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway in Jim Thorpe! The railway welcomes well-behaved dogs, so he was able to enjoy the entire experience right alongside us.

Bringing your dog is one thing. Knowing they can handle the people, movement, new environment, and close quarters without the entire day becoming about managing them is something else.

This is exactly why we do what we do. I want dogs to live their best little lives with their families, and training makes experiences like this possible.

This trip wasn’t another training outing. It was the one we had been working toward.

Xena came from Oklahoma City to Pennsylvania to complete her service dog training with us. Months later, we made the trip back to bring her home to her handler.

Xena is officially home in OKC, and now their work together begins. 🖤

Autumn has some very big feelings about the world around her. She’s also already completed training somewhere else, but the reactivity remained.

We see this more often than you’d think. Knowing commands isn’t the same as fixing the problem that made you seek help in the first place.

Now Autumn is in day training with us, learning that she doesn’t have to act on every feeling she has. She may be calm here, but she definitely still has opinions. 😂

Delicious food is even better when the dogs can come along and the evening is still relaxing.

Xena and Cael spent dinner at Main Street Meats resting comfortably in their down stays and enjoying the evening right along with us.

Last sessions are always bittersweet. 🥹

Cael and his owners have worked so hard, and watching this boy put it all together made us incredibly proud. Way to go, buddy! 💙

Some puppies are naturally easy.

Iris is not one of them. 😂 She’s a lot and thankfully about 80% past her shark-attack era. 🦈

Day Training is giving all that intensity direction so Iris and her family can enjoy life together now, while building the skills they’ll rely on for years.
