Too funny 😂😂
As much as we love our fur babies, letting them lick you on the mouth is essentially a free pass for bacteria to enter your body! 🤢 Dog saliva can contain pathogens like Salmonella, E. coli, and Campylobacter, which can cause severe gastrointestinal infections in humans. Because dogs explore the world with their mouths—including eating raw food or licking their own rears—those “puppy kisses” are actually transferring a mix of germs from the ground and their f***s directly to your mucous membranes (eyes, nose, mouth). While healthy adults might be fine, these germs can cause serious, life-changing infections, especially for children, the elderly, or anyone with a weakened immune system. Save the kisses for the cheek and show love through play and belly rubs instead! 🐶✨
