UN-Cats Feline Rescue

UN-Cats Feline Rescue UN-Tameable, UN-Treatable, UN-Touchable The fact is that there is not enough room at shelters for these cats, resulting in many being euthanized.

UN-cats first goal was to build a sanctuary and adoption agency for felines positive with Feline Leukemia Virus (Felv) and Feline Immunodefiency Virus (FIV), who are being euthanized in shelters and by owners who are not educated well enough about these diseases. While these felines do pose a small health risk to healthy felines, UN-Cats wants to work with shelters to see that these cats are getti

ng the second chance they deserve in finding a permanent home. The second, goal UN-Cats is working towards at addressing the never-ending problem of feral cats in our cities, towns, and own backyards. UN-Cats goal is to educate the public on population control and how to care for outdoor cats. As well as offering the option of low-cost spay/neuter for stray cats and for feral cats through are Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) program. While these cats may never make good house pets, the life of a healthy outdoor cat is better than no life at all. If you would like to visit the rescue to see our cats that aren't at Petsmart, it is by appointment. Call Mandie 231-590-1420, Amy 231-590-7278, or Laura 231-929-5986 to schedule a time.

This is a courtesy post in regard to a cat we received a call from a local vet needing assistance. His current owner is nearing the end of their battle with cancer. We can provide contact info if you feel that you may be able to help ❤️🐾 I will include the picture of his injury in the comments as it may be graphic for some.

This is Notan
He is about 5 years old.
Neutered Male
Black/White domestic shorthair
FIV +
We have rabies vaccinated him
Applied revolution.
Seems healthy otherwise

He is the sweetest boy ever, just wants a person to love and snuggle him. All the history I know is that he has living under the owners porch for about 5 years. In hospital he doesn’t seem afraid of dogs, he doesn’t seem fazed by the noise and barking. Not sure how he is with other cats. I’ve been carrying him around in my sweatshirt and he is a total love.

He was brought in for a wound on his tail that will need daily bandaging until it’s healed. Ideally he should be kept inside, until healed.
