Poor Rueger found himself a late night snack โ ๏ธ A spicy sky raisin aka a bee ๐๐ Did you know that anaphylactic shock can occur in dogs and cats just like in people? Or that bees sometimes sleep outside the hive in grass, flowers and even rocks ๐ฑ๐ซข Allergic Reactions vary from patient to patient. Mild symptoms may include but are not limited to localized swelling, itching, hives, pain and tenderness to touch. Severe reactions to bee stings (anaphylaxis) include but are not limited to localized swelling, pain, hives, vomiting, diarrhea, collapse, Gallbladder wall swelling (edema), and even difficult breathing. Severe reactions can be fatal so quick action is vital. Take your pet to the emergency hospital at the first sign of any of the reactions mentioned. ๐๐๐ Cute little Rueger only had a mild reaction and was able to go home after some injectable medications. What a strong handsome puppy ! ๐๐ฆฎ๐
