Yorek 2.0 Kennels will be closing its doors. It’s been a fun ride, I have met some amazing people, some lifelong friends. I have also met some not so amazing people and people I have no desire to interact with on a personal or professional level.
Prodigy has gone on to her pet home in Minnesota, Capri is in her forever home in Virginia and will be used in Wicked Moon Kennels program, Cuda is in co own in Tennessee and will have ownership transferred with this upcoming litter. Andi will be returning to Washington today. Ace and Serenity are retired. Hemi, Charger, Legacy and Mopar have all crossed the rainbow bridge far too soon. I have produced some great, HEALTHY, badass pups in my short time in the Alapaha game and looked forward to an OEB and Brazilian breeding adventure but breeding is not where my passion is. It was a necessary step to get to where I am.
My focus will be on transport, raising and showing Vinny, studding him out to keep producing excellence. And my wonderful family. I’ve built a solid foundation for transport in 3 short months and am already home managing it with drivers on the road. I also am a mentor to many in transport, breeding and dogs in general, plus the AA Program and Warriors Heart and THAT is where I belong.
I believe part of my breeding adventure was to create the perfect dog for ME. I found that in Vinny and I didn’t make him, lol. It also filled a void during a time in my life where I had nothing, especially my kids, and kept my mind busy. It was a huge part of my recovery. My work is done.
Y2K will be rebranded eventually for Ariana. Her dream is to breed tiny toy poodles and save money for Julliard School of music and I will mentor her every step of the way.
Until then, please visit my transport page and let me know if you need help getting your furbabies home to you.
Thank you for the love and support through the years. Much love and respect to you all.
