**URGENT**

Good afternoon,

We could really use some help this weekend and next week at the shelter in Gallatin. Every shift, AM and PM, for the next 10 days is wide open. Unfortunately we've had a few last minute cancellations for tomorrow (Saturday Dec 6) so that is the main priority right now as we only have 4 folks for the morning shift, and one of those is a new volunteer. The afternoon shift has just 2 folks scheduled. We have about 50 dogs of all sizes and ages in our care right now and the majority of those are from Op Grateful Heart, where we are trying to schedule a few extra folks per shift to help with socializing them. That number of dogs also includes some puppies who could use some extra attention to help use up that endless energy. If you can help, please either self-schedule or email me back at this address and I'm happy to add you to the schedule for any day/shift that you're available.

The daily shifts are 9-1, 1-4 or 9-4. If you're able to help but not these specific hours, please respond to this email with the day/hours you are available (between 9am-4pm please) and we'll work something out. We scheduling help every day of the week including weekends until the end of December. Please note that if this is your first time volunteering, please arrive 15 minutes early to complete paperwork. If you're new and have self-scheduled a shift, please also email us back at this address and let us know so we're prepared for your arrival. Thank you so much for considering this request from the incredible dogs at the shelter.

A few reminders - minimum age of 18 please and we do require long pants and closed toe shoes. Parking is in the lot beside the shelter. If you park in the front or along the driveway, please note that we get regular deliveries from either private donations or large vehicles (Chewy, Amazon, etc) so the safest place for your vehicle is in the lot beside the shelter.
