I know y’all are probably sick of seeing them because I post them all the time, but I am so freaking proud of my blue mottled splits. Especially now that I sold Cricket and how much he meant to me, they are that much more special to me because they’re his daughters and it’s like having a little piece of him here with me forever. 🩷

Spending some time bonding with my new boy this afternoon! He’s blue mottled split to chocolate, and I’ve decided to name him Einstein 😂

When he gets a little older, I’m gonna put him in a pen over blue mottled, chocolate mottled and mauve mottled girls and have that as my “fun pen” and only black mottled in another.

For a few weeks now, I have been finding a new surprise egg in the nesting box and haven’t been able to catch who’s laying it and my girls REFUSE to lay in the nesting box.

Yesterday, I caught her. Winnie has started laying!!!!! I squealed so loud. I can’t wait to get her in a breeding pen and hatch some of her babies 🩷🥹😍

She looks a little ratchet from the rain and her hair is in a ponytail so ignore that 😂

🩷 Found a new coop 🩷

Cricket is looking for a new coop! 🏡

14 months old. Not my breeding. He’s blue, not split to mottled, and in desperate need of a molt. His crest is up in a ponytail currently even though it doesn’t look like it. I have made several blue splits with him, and not a single one has inherited his toes. My absolute heart bird. The best boy. He seriously is so sweet, he absolutely loves to be held. 🩷 Will include pics of his daughters, before sun-bleaching and pre-ponytail in the comments! Ultimately I just want him to have a good home, this is not easy for me at all but I have no pen for him.

Local pickup preferred, but can ship if temps are ok on both ends 🛳️📦

Y’all. I made her 🥹😍 She is starting to get more mottling in her cushion and beard. I’m so excited to see how she turns out, but she has a decent bit of mottling coming in for a split! She has her daddy’s calm personality, she loves to be held and she’ll just sit in your lap and purr.
