Jax is usually pretty grumpy and has a limited number of “kitty minutes” when handling. After placing a few needles, he became quite the mellow fellow.

Cats are what we call “Yin” animals - more quiet and relaxed compared to dogs, who are considered “Yang” (think about that happy Labrador who just wants to play). For this reason, most cats are very agreeable to acupuncture therapy, which can be used to treat many conditions (including respiratory, chronic GI issues, behavioral issues, and arthritis, to name just a few).
