Seeley...which I lovingly called my crusty little baby for the longest because she had mites that just wouldn't go away.

She was up for adoption, but wanted to stay here. Seriously, I was her emotional support person. We got mites together and everything 😂

Meet Scarlett and Butler 🩷

We were contacted about these two cuties yesterday. We chose to say no at this time, but will do everything we can to find them the perfect home.

This is an older photo, but I'm working on a recent one. I'm told they are approximately three years old.

We were told "Both of them have very sweet personalities - especially Butler. He is very people oriented, and likes back scratches. Scarlet is VERY food oriented."

Exciting news 🙌

We were able to reach our matching goal a couple of weeks ago, but that's not all.

An amazing anonymous supporter sent us a check for the remainder. We quite literally can put a deposit down any second. We are so excited 🥳

We have gone back and forth, and we’ve decided it would be a huge regret if we didn’t add a lean-to. We also decided it would be best to close off the ends of the lean-to to give the pigs even more protection.

We knew from the beginning that we wanted to make this barn something that would truly serve the pigs for years to come. We also knew we would regret cutting corners now and wishing later that we had done it differently. I should have known that we couldn't possibly get exactly what is needed for the amount I was asking for 😏

So, we aren’t asking you to cover that additional concrete work. We are personally paying for that part out of our own pockets... and, honestly, it’s almost half the cost of the entire barn 🤯

But we have one more amazing matching opportunity! We are hoping to raise the final $2,000 needed for the additional infrastructure of the barn, and we have someone willing to match it. ❤️

Rambo Update 💙

Rambo had only been here for one week when he had to endure a major surgery. And here he is, three weeks later. 💙

He has recovered so incredibly well, and even our veterinarian is amazed by how well he has bounced back. He told us this was the craziest surgery he has ever done.

We are beyond thankful for our veterinarian and his entire team for taking such good care of our boy. 🥹💙

Rambo has come such a long way in just a few weeks, and we couldn't be more grateful that he is here. 🐷💙
