Finally catching a moment to reflect on last week’s GSAA Summer Sizzler. We had a smaller group bc of vacations and sicknesses. Most of our “big kids” couldn’t make it but the not so little kids stepped up to become the big kids. They impressed us so much, from keeping hay bags filled all weekend, hand walking horses without being asked, cleaning stalls, getting feed set up before we could even think about it and making sure the trailer was packed correctly. Every single one of these kids showed up in and out of the arena, had a blast as all weekend and we are so proud of them!!!

What an amazing weekend last weekend!! Sussex County Fair Open Breed and Ranch show…AWPH students showed in soooooo many classes and had sooooo many wins!! Congratulations to everyone! We spent 48 hours at the show in a total of 3 days, it was crazy, the kids were amazing, horses dealt with fireworks, fair rides, adult leadline, versatility and everything in between like champs. It was a great weekend and we are going at it again this weekend! Great job kids (and adults)

The last two weeks in Waco at the Youth Wolrd Championship Appaloosa Show our students showed us they had that dream, desire and vision.
This years dream team consisted of Autumn, Brayden, Ryan, Reagan, Savy, Zuzu, Nathan and their show partners Patrick, Bill, Ramona, Huckleberry, Thunder and Twitch.

This small group of kids came home with
1 Limited National Champion
1 Reserve Limited National Champion

15 youth World Champions
7 youth Reserve World Champions
11 top 3 placings
17 top 5 placings
13 top 10 placings

You all showed up more than anyone could have imagined. Moving up in age groups, showing in some hard classes, pushing through the heat and having fun the entire time. You all are amazing!!

We actually made it through the entire show with not a single pattern being forgotten…that is a huge feat all in itself!!

Thank you to everyone for all of your support of these amazing children! We felt you all the way in Texas!!!

Congratulations to everyone so proud of each and everyone of you!!

Appaloosa Youth World Championship show will be starting this week. We are all well on our way and totally ready to show everyone what we are made of! Join us on the we**am throughout the next few days. Good luck to all these great young adults. We have pushed to this point now enjoy the ride.

Starting to recover from the amazing long day on Sunday!!! The horses were amazing, kids were great, weather perfect!!! And to top it off we had an ice cream truck come and join us to break up the day!! Congratulations to everyone, it was awesome perfect last show before the break (or Youth Worlds). Great job and thank you everyone who lended a hand where it was definitely needed!!!
