This 16.2 hh young gentleman has a fabulous canter and is beautiful. I like to say it's impossible to say a horse has FEI potential til they are actually FEI, but this guy has potential.

Does anything teach self control as well as riding? First, self control in body. Your hands, your legs, your feet your body, your balance your feel your vision, every one communicates with your horse.
And second, in mind. What must you control, anxiety, self doubt, anger, frustration need to be replaced with calm, courage, confidence and celebration .
Thank you to the horses who have helped me learn these things and continue to do so.

I have this tall, dark and handsome 4 year old Dutch x in for sale and training. I have just started him but I think he will like hunter pace, fox hunting, and basically dressage. He is by Captain ( Dondersteen) out of Liberty Bell ( Wilfred) and is about 17.2 hh so he will carry a tall or heavy rider.

I have a few horse loving friends who despise possums because they are an intermediate host for Equine Protozoal Meningitis. I found out that they are only the secondary intermediate host and that they carry it from oppotunistically scavenging on carcasses from the other carriers. So as an added precaution against EPM, disposing of road kill near your farm is possibly even more effective than trying to control opposums. The guilty carriers are cats, skunks. And raccoons.
