✨ Meet a few of the students joining us at VAC this summer! ✨
We’re excited to welcome these future veterinary professionals to our team and can’t wait for our clients to get to know them!
🐾 Brian Hinkson
If you’ve been with us for a while, you may remember Brian from last summer. As of May, Brian is officially a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Animal Bioscience. He is continuing to pursue his dream of becoming a veterinarian, and we’re thrilled to have his positive energy and familiar face back at the clinic this summer!
🐾 Amelia Hunt
Amelia is from Calhoun, Georgia, and is entering her third year at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Her passion is small animal medicine, and we first met her at a UGA veterinary career fair. We’re so grateful she chose to spend her summer with us, and we’re excited to be part of her veterinary journey.
🐾 Marchella Gatti
Marchella is entering her senior year at Berry College and is a member of the Food Animal Veterinary Incentive Program (FAVIP). Through this prestigious program, she will begin her veterinary education at the University of Georgia in Fall 2027. FAVIP is dedicated to recruiting and training future food animal veterinarians to serve rural and underserved communities. Marchella is one of only two Berry College students accepted into this recently expanded program—an incredible accomplishment!
