Today, this awesome young lady and her Bernese Mountain Dog came out to complete their AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test, and they were 🔥🔥… outdoors with real-life distractions.

Another great semi-private class in the books at Leader of the Pack in Lafayette, Indiana!

One thing about these classes is people realizing they’re more capable than what they think.

Every dog in class is different. Some are working through excitement, some struggle with distractions, and some are just learning how to focus around other dogs. The important part is that everyone shows up ready to put in the work.
Tonight reminded everyone that dog training isn’t about having a “perfect” dog. It’s about learning how to communicate better, building trust, and creating habits that make life easier. The progress doesn’t happen overnight, but when owners stay consistent and their dogs start understanding what’s being asked of them, that’s when things start to click.

These ladies showed up, asked questions, worked through challenges, and celebrated the small wins that eventually turn into big ones. Lets Goooo!!
