This mornings setup is short, simple denial singles. We are trying to tighten up on some things from this past weekends hunt test. Creeping, happy feet at the line, and head swing before the mark comes out were issues we saw. So any of that and we will pick up the mark and run it again until all 3 marks are picked up clean. Then run the blind.

Started yesterday with a beautiful sunrise and ended it with a dashboard loaded with ribbons. A fun but hot weekend in Brilliant for Central Alabama HRC summer test. Thanks to all the judges, bird techs, volunteers and club members for a successful test despite the extreme heat. Congratulations to all the handlers and owners.

Chief and Nyx both earned started passes. Ember, with 2 seasoned passes, earned her Hunting Retriever title. Oakley obtained his first finished pass. Ghost inched closer to 200 points with another finished pass. Coot crew finishing summer strong.

Tight water setup with lots of factors this morning. Hill side marks with long entry's with tall cover around the edges of the water, and floating and silhouette decoys made it fun but challenging for all the dogs. The big dogs ran the triple then both blinds which were hot blinds. The young dogs ran them all as singles. Had aome nice work but also saw some things to work on.

Little late post but want to give a shout out to the North Alabama Retriever Club. They held their summer test this past weekend and Ghost picked up another Master pass. Thanks to the judges bird techs and club members for all their efforts.
