FRIENDLY REMINDER: As many gear up for the impending heat wave, it's important to watch where you (and your pets) are walking. As air temperatures surge into the 90s, both concrete and asphalt temperatures will catapult to dangerous levels. That can burn your pups paws if you're not careful.

Friends, we don't judge you if you adopt from someone other than us. We are just happy that a homeless pet found a home. BUT- we should not be receiving messages asking for help with low cost spay and neuter when you adopted from another local rescue organization. We should not be tagged on posts for people seeking advice for spay and neuter options, when they adopted from another local rescue organization. We should not be reading that you paid a $425 adoption fee, and that the rescue will NOT cover the cost of spay/neuter services. That is NOT ethical rescue. Also, adoption fees are NOT donations.

Adopting out puppies with spay/neuter contracts in place is standard procedure. We do it too in some cases, but we also provide all of our adopters a list of
approved vet partners where WE will cover the cost of surgery, because that is included in your adoption fee, as it should be.

Anyway, rant over. Thank you for adopting.

Herb has no regrets that he has mastered taking his surgical collar off 🤦🏻‍♀️ Poor boy needed to be shaved halfway up his stomach for them to find his hiding testicle 🫣 He is doing great this morning though!

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to those that donated to his trouble puff removal surgery! It ended up being $735 and $230 was donated so we are very grateful for the help! 🩵

One of our clients has this beautiful young boy, named Guy, that is looking for a new home. He’s a very sweet cat but he is NOT a fan of their toddler and unfortunately has scratched and bit the baby multiple times and they have another baby on the way ☹️ He is very friendly and affectionate, which I can attest to as his cat sitter, but would do best in a home without young children.

Guy is about 3, neutered and will be updated on his shots before rehoming. He happily lives with several other cats. He’s located in Ladson, SC. Please let me know if youre interested in giving Guy his new home and I can put you in touch with his current owner 😺. Thank you!

This nut job managed to get his inflatable collar off before we even got out to the car 🤦🏻‍♀️ they said he did really well for his surgery and he is a very sweet boy! I checked his belly and the poor baby got shaved halfway up his stomach so I guess they really had to go searching for that second testicle 😬

HAPPY FRIDAY THE 13th FRIENDS!!

Friends, we need help! A friend rescued this sweet boy, aptly named Herb because he was found in the garden, and wanted to find him a home because he is truly the sweetest. You know how I (Stacy) am so I immediately went into homing mode. And guess what? We found him an awesome place to go but he needed all his vetting done.

Shots and microchipping were no problem and we also got him scheduled for a neuter because WOW does an adult male YOWL and that spray is GROSS 🤢! His neuter appt was this morning and I found out he’s a cryptorchid so his surgery cost skyrocketed 😩

His new mom is on a fixed income and Jimmy & I wanted to cover the cost of his vetting for her but we were not prepared, and frankly not able to, pay $725 just for his neuter. And this is at the low cost clinic so it’s honestly not going to be cheaper anywhere else 😞. Happy to show the invoice later when I get it at checkout!

Could you guys help us cover the cost of this one-testicle menace’s surgery so he can go on to be a beloved house cat and not make any more babies??? 🙏 pretty please??? 😬😬😬
