📣 We are ONE WEEK AWAY from our first ever Microchip and Vaccination Clinic for dogs! 🐕

💵 Please note this will be a CASH ONLY event - and pricing is listed on the event flyer.

This has been a wish-list project for a few years now, so please SHARE and help us spread the word! Through a grant from the Miccio Foundation to help with the expense, we have purchased 100 microchips, and 100 Rabies and Distemper vaccines!

So NEXT SUNDAY (October 26th) from 9:00am to noon we will be hosting this event at Safe Haven - along with help from our local veterinary friends at Iowa Humane Alliance , Frey Pet Hospital, Carnforth Veterinary Clinic , and Veterinary Medical Center!

This low-cost clinic is open to the public and aims to keep the pets in our community healthy and protected. We will hold a clinic for cats on another date - likely next year, depending on funding opportunities!

We are not taking reservations or appointments - this is a first come, first serve event. We anticipate there will be a high level of interest, and will do our best to run a safe and organized event! 👍

By participating, you're not only protecting your pet, but also helping to promote a healthier, safer community for all dogs! Let’s work together to give dogs the care they deserve! 🦮🐾🐕‍🦺

* As a licensed shelter we obviously prioritize and know the importance of spaying/neutering pets, and we will therefore offer a discount for altered pets at this clinic. Owners must bring proof of spay or neuter (paperwork from vet, etc) to qualify for the lower cost as listed on flyer. If unaltered pets attend we do have several vouchers to hand out for a discounted spay/neuter appoint at a fee great vet offices in our area! We really want to work together with members of our community to provide much needed assistance for not only these vaccinations at our event, but provide resources to also help find options for spay/neuter services! 🐾❤️🐾
