These two sisters are 8 weeks old (out of Baby Ruth and Blue Raspberry). I have been battling rats in my rabbitry for years now. It can be so frustrating defeating to deal with. I really empathize with others that are having the same struggle.

When these kits were 3 weeks old, BabyRuth’s and the Amber’s litters were both attacked by what I am assuming, rats. Limbs ripped off, completely scalped, degloved, and some missing with no remains found. This was a first for my rabbitry and was awful! My beautiful tri litter of 8 down to 2. My beautiful amber litter of 6 down to 4. Heartbreaking.

I am hopeful that the remaining 8 week olds keep looking worthy of growing out. To mitigate the recent attacks, I’ve been shelving litters indoors overnight, which is more work 🫠 but effective. I think a rat proof shed is in order.

These are a few home grown COD project does that just turned senior age. They both came out of my tri program. I’m excited to see what they produce this next year. Who else is working on new varieties?

This is Miss Penny. Her lines go back to Killion Glen and Dreamin’ Acres beautiful rabbits and hard work that have led to this gorgeous doe. I’m so grateful to have mentors and friends that have elevated my herd exponentially ❤️

This is a 4.5 month old blue/fawn tri doe. I love her grumpy face. She’s actually very sweet and friendly. She has very nice fur, but it’s chewed on by mom- who is still her roomate 😅. My largest complaint is that her loin tapers to her hips. It has filled in with age and isn’t looking bad.

If someone is looking for good fur and size to improve their tri, she would be a good fit. She needs to be paired to a buck with a full loin. She’s currently just shy of 8lbs.

Flash is a 4.5 month old broken blue. He might carry white. I held onto him for his depth (especially his loin carried over his hip) and planned use him for a breeding or two. Being that I don’t work on self colors, he will be available. He does have a weak shoulder, but it transitions smoothly into his midsection so far.

I’m excited and hopeful for this upcoming litter! The blue fawn tri is CC’s Tri hard, and my black/orange brindle boy. I’m expecting nice fur and bodies on these brindles and tri 🤞

Oh! He is still cute! 4 months old and 7lbs. His fur is coming in nicely too. He just had his first date and needs an official name.

I’m offering up this lovely doe in Western Wa. She can get a trip to convention in Reno. She’s out of a broken castor and black otter. Potentially carries otter, dilute, and non-extension. She has protruding guard hairs, but good density and great depth as a parts doe.
