Colorado Livestock Association continues to safeguard the interests of livestock producers in the state.

Yesterday afternoon, CLA President, Kenny Rogers and Julie McCaleb, Chair of the Legislative Affairs Committee, testified in opposition to HB-1375 Wild Carnivores & Livestock Nonlethal Coexistence. Had the legislation passed as written it would have been detrimental to livestock owners drastically limited their abilities to manage for the safety of their herds and further strained the relationship between CPW and livestock owners. We thank those committee members who voted this measure down.
