🐶👩‍⚕️ Dr. Jessie Champagne & Ella Visit Northwest Elementary!

Dr. Jessie Champagne and staff member, Ella, had the pleasure of visiting the kindergarten classes at Northwest Elementary School in LaSalle as part of the schools Community Helpers Week! 🎉

Dr. Champagne performed a full physical examination on the school's beloved therapy dog, Penny, while the students watched in awe. Each child even got the chance to listen to Penny’s heartbeat! ❤️👂🩺

The class also had a fun and interactive discussion about what’s healthy 🥦 vs. unhealthy 🍫 for dogs to eat. The kids were amazing participants, asking thoughtful questions and showing off their knowledge!

A big thank you to Northwest Elementary for having us—we loved sharing our passion for animal care with the next generation of potential veterinarians! 🐾💙

Members of the Ancare Veterinary Hospital team had an amazing time at the LP High School 2025 Career Fair!🐾❤️🐾💚

Dr. Steve Dullard, HR Manager Deanna, Certified Veterinary Technicians Sierra & Ally, CVT student Karissa, and Vet Assistant/U of I Pre-Vet student Emilio were on hand to share their passion for veterinary medicine with the next generation of potential animal care professionals.🐶🐱

We loved connecting with students, answering questions, and inspiring future veterinarians, techs, and animal lovers! 🩺✨ The students also got to visit with some of the staff members canines and ferrets.

Meet Ritchie, the ultimate rockstar! 🎉 After undergoing ACL surgery at Ancare Veterinary Hospital, this brave pup has been working hard to recover. With determination and a whole lot of heart, (and a super awesome owner) Ritchie completed his physical therapy at Ancare with the under water treadmill—and he absolutely crushed it! 💪🐾 We’re so proud of how far he’s come and can’t wait to see him continue to shine. Ritchie, you’re a true superstar in every way! 🌟
