Welcome Our New General Manager, Andrew Knepper!!!

A Southern California native, growing up in Palos Verdes Estates, Andrew started his career in sports marketing and event management working for the likes of NIKE, New Balance and Under Armour. Andrew then transitioned into athletic recruiting where he directed national recruiting events in conjunction with Major League Baseball and ESPN. After a five-year tenure with ESPN, Andrew entered the golf business in 2013 at The PGA WEST Tournament Clubhouse.

The opportunity to gain experience and added responsibility arose and he moved to the Arizona desert. There he held key positions at Desert Mountain Club and Pinnacle Peak Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. Andrew returned to the Coachella Valley as Tournament Director at The Classic Club and moved over to The Citrus Club in September of 2018 as Tournament Coordinator and First Assistant Golf Professional. With his continued desire to grow professionally, he was promoted as Head Golf Professional of the Pete Dye Mountain and Dunes Courses and during his time there he evolved into the Clubhouse Manager role where he oversaw club operations.

With Andrew’s extensive experience and tenure within the PGA WEST portfolio, we are very excited to welcome Andrew back to The Citrus Club! Andrew’s first day will be Monday, April 11th. Congratulations Andrew!
