To All Beekeepers!!

Please fill out quick Bee Survey from Auburn University. This is a long standing survey which has run annually for longer than 15 years. “This survey is also being used by a national wide USDA funded project concerning varroa management. We need good numbers!” Survey needs to be submitted by Friday, May 16th, 2025.
To make it easy, there is a QR code on the flyer.

They have only received surveys from 34 Beekeepers in California!

You do not need to be a member of BASC to volunteer. All are welcome!

2025 Volunteer Incentives
* One (1) event/shift -- Tee Shirt (blue for 2025) with BASC logo
* Three (3) events/shifts -- Choice of one: Baseball cap with BASC logo; 2026 Annual SINGLE membership waived; Hive Tool with BASC logo; Bee Hotel or 1 lb jar of honey
* Five (5) events/shifts -- Choice of one: 2026 Annual FAMILY member waived or Smoker kit
If 5 or more shifts are worked during LA County Fair (May 2-26 select dates) you will receive:
Choice of: Five frame NUC, $50 Educational Credit (reimbursed upon proof of completion), 1 hour (max) visit by one of BASC's experienced beekeepers to your apiary or one of the incentive choices above.

Family volunteers are counted as individual shifts
Example: both husband and wife work the same shift = 2 shifts towards incentives
Children as part of a family are welcome to volunteer as well! If they are willing to help, we will find something for them to do!
