Showtime update: Ms Von Duchess and Josh Armstrong are set to show today in Junior Reining Level 2 and 3.

The class starts at 1:00 pm OKC time (⏰), which is 12:00 noon our time here in southern New Mexico, and Duchess will be the last entry in her group.

Getting ready for another big day—Duchess is up for Junior Reining Level 2 and 3 tomorrow. The team’s all here and Oklahoma is putting on a show. Proud to be part of it, and ready for whatever tomorrow brings.

Hello from Oklahoma City! 👋 We're having an incredible time here at the AQHA World Reining Championship 2025, and a huge thank you to everyone following along and for all your kind wishes – it means so much!

Josh and Chex truly showed their heart and grit in the arena on Thursday. They gave it their all, and their connection and effort were undeniable. ❤️ That's the sport of reining for you – always keeping us on our toes!

Now, the focus is fully on Tuesday, when Josh will be riding Duchess into the arena, and we can't wait! 🤩

Since it's Saturday, we're taking a little break from the intensity of the show pen to just soak it all in. Enjoying casual rides, dedicated grooming sessions, and simply loving every minute of being here together with these incredible horses. These relaxed, behind-the-scenes moments are just as vital and truly showcase the heart of our team. Feeling refreshed and ready to go for Tuesday!

UPDATE:
Western Rail exhibitors—the first split now starts at 12:00pm CST (which is 11:00am our time!!) in the Adequan Performance Arena (not 11:45). There will be 3 splits and a semi-finals today to determine the 15 finalists.

Dinner at Trappers Restaurant, then Chex and Duchess got their chance to stretch their legs. Chex wasted no time bucking and showing off, while Duchess kept her cool and did things her own way. Both are settled in, ready for whatever tomorrow brings at the AQHA World Show.

Welcome to our home away from home for the next eight days! Georgia and I jumped right into giving Duchess a fresh new look—she says she feels ten pounds lighter already. Meanwhile, Chex is hanging out in his stall, acting like he’s above haircuts and trying to convince us he’s “going for the wild mustang vibe.” 🤣
Prep mode is in full swing: Chex steps into the spotlight for Working Western Rail tomorrow (finals are Saturday), and Duchess gets her turn to shine in Junior Reining on Tuesday.
