It was another beautiful and perfect weather day this morning at Canine Corners Dog Park where we were able to complete the shade sail in the left all-dog size dog run. The other picture is the EZ-Up located in the all-dog size run on the right side that was previously stood up a couple weeks ago.

As the weathers gets hotter throughout the summer be sure to make sure there is plenty of fresh water for your dog to drink and we hope that you are your dog enjoy the shade covered area!

Additional EZ-Up shade canopies have been setup in the right dog run for you and your curry companions enjoyment. Thank you to one of our patrons for donating the two shade structures and a group of volunteers to help set them up this morning!

We still have plans to complete the implementation of the shade sail project. It is currently pending digging the holes deeper and widening them so they can be securely placed and re-cemented into the ground.

Additionally, we are working to identify additional shade placement locations throughout the dog runs also. All projects, repairs and improvements complete in Canine Corners Dog Park are funded by donations by patrons of the park and improvements are coordinated with the help of volunteers. Grading of the dog runs has been completed. The water faucet on the large all-dog right side has also been replaced and repaired. Thank you to the City of La Mesa's Park Maintenance folks for helping with the repairs and grading the dog runs!

The shade structure on the all dog size left side is planned to be completed Sunday morning. Repairs or replacement to the Ez-Up shade structure in the all-dog right side legs will be completed in the following weeks.

Correction on the shade structure, it was noticed today upon inspection that the posts for the shade were not completely secured in ground. Additionally, work will be required to secure them and will be completed the follow weekend.

Canine Corners Dog Park is an all volunteer, donation funded non-profit dog park in San Diego County. Your donations help keep up maintenance of the fenced dog run and help provide improvements to the fenced dog runs.

Thank you everyone for your patience, the fence repair was completed mid-day Jan. 3, 2024. A big thank you to Aanco Fence Inc. Inc. for doing the fencing repair and a huge thank you to everyone who has and continues to donate and support Canine Corners Dog Park!

Please note, the gate between the all-dog and small area when opened to pass through should be pulled out towards the all-dog side. The hardware utilize on this fence gate was upgraded to be a one way hinge for increased strength and durability.

Canine Corners Dog Park will be temporary closed for fence repair Tuesday - Jan. 2 all day. We will be reopened Wednesday Jan. 3 for normal operations and usage. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Hello friends of Canine Corners. We are currently having technical difficulties with our website and are working to resolve them. We've also received approval and permits from the City of La Mesa to proceed with repairs to the fence area. We are working with our contact at Aanco Fence Inc. to schedule a date and time for repairs. We'll post signs at the park and here once the date has been set.

Hello doggie friends and their human companions! We have heard your awwoos, howls and ruff-ruffs regarding the damage between the small and all-dog size fence on the right of the dog areas.

The board has approved funds and is working to schedule a date to have Aanco Fence Inc. come replace the poles and fencing that is currently damaged. Aanco Fence is a long time supporting of Canine Corners Dog Park, be sure to check out their page and company!

We'll be sure to provide ample notification via our page here and our newsletter (https://caninecornersdogpark.com/newsletter/) when the installation is scheduled to occur so the human companions can make arrangements for their doggie friends.

Canine Corners Dog Park is looking for rescues, obedience and commercial exhibitors for our Howl-O-Ween event. Last year we had a ton of people visit the dog run, event and also the general Harry Griffen park area. This event is a great chance to interface with people who share a common love of dogs and Halloween events!
