Un perro viejo y de aspecto cansado entra al jardín de un hombre. Examina el collar del perro, palpa su barriga bien alimentada y sabe que el perro tiene un hogar.
El perro lo sigue hasta la casa, recorre el pasillo, salta sobre el sofá, se acomoda y se queda dormido. El hombre piensa que es bastante extraño, pero lo deja dormir. Después de aproximadamente una hora, el perro se despierta, camina hacia la puerta y el tipo lo deja salir. El perro mueve la cola y se va.
Al día siguiente el perro vuelve y araña la puerta. El chico abre la puerta, entra el perro, recorre el pasillo, salta sobre el sofá, se acomoda y se vuelve a dormir. El hombre lo deja dormir. Después de aproximadamente una hora, el perro se despierta, camina hacia la puerta y el tipo lo deja salir. El perro mueve la cola y se va.
Esto continúa durante días. El chico siente mucha curiosidad y le pone una nota en el collar al perro: "Tu perro ha estado durmiendo una siesta en mi casa todos los días".
Al día siguiente, el perro llega con otra nota prendida en su collar: "Vive en una casa con cuatro niños; está intentando recuperar el sueño. ¿Puedo ir con él mañana?"

An old tired-looking dog wanders into a guy's yard. He examines the dog's collar and feels his well-fed belly and knows the dog has a home.
The dog follows him into the house, goes down the hall, jumps on the couch, gets comfortable and falls asleep. The man thinks its rather odd, but lets him sleep. After about an hour the dog wakes up, walks to the door and the guy lets him out. The dog wags his tale and leaves.
The next day the dog comes back and scratches at the door. The guy opens the door, the dog comes in, goes down the hall, jumps on the couch, gets comfortable and falls asleep again. This goes on for days. The guy grows really curious, so he pins a note on the dog's collar: "Your dog has been taking a nap at my house every day."
The next day the dog arrives with another note pinned to his collar: "He lives in a home with four children -- he's trying to catch up on his sleep. Can I come with him tomorrow?'
