2017-2018. Was a great year. Still mounting pieces from 2018. I usually have a overlap an my turnaround is approx 8-10 months. Artist are a dime a dozen, the good ones are hard to fine.

OK ya all. remember that to do a shoulder mount, I need at least 6"-8" BEHIND the front shoulder. The best thing is to bring the whole hide an let me make the proper cuts. Try an keep it as dry as possible using a BLACK TRASH BAG and keep it iced or frozen till you can bring it to the shop. I do this ever year to help those who do not know. Have a GREAT OPENING DAY, see ya all MONDAY.

OK, all you guys post up all those pretty flies that have to be just right,(me included), but here is a real trouper, one that took the point for at least 30 trout and a couple of reds the other night with my lights on. Walker came down and we had the best of time. One tough fly. It doesn't look like much now, but it had a 2" grey back and 2" bellie. this is whats left. It was tied like a surf candy for the bayou.

small flies do catch big fish. Had 25-30 trout last night under lights. this one is 20", lots of little trout, and lots of fun.

Clear Cure Goo Shrimp using #4 34007. With epoxy it use to take me 35-40 minutes, with Clear Cure Goo Thick, 8 minutes 40 seconds. WOW. awesome stuff

I have been tying flies commercially for 7-8 years now. I mostly use Epoxy on my flies UNTIL I found CLEAR CURE GOO. Its a UV hardnin system using syringes with their goo. Sets in 3-5 seconds. Most unbelieable stuff I have ever used. Here is a photo of a lip I made on my piggy perch fly and now its a piggy perch crank bait fly. I am also a dealer for Clear Cure Goo. check out the website
