We are proud to be a no-kill shelter and pull from overcrowded shelters and euthanasia lists in the hopes that every cat that longs for a warm bed and family receives one. CatNap is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to creating lifelong relationships between companion animals and their adoptive families. Their world was turned upside down when their beloved owner passed away, leaving them heartbroken. These two adored her deeply, and now they’re looking for a new family to love.
Luke is a handsome, affectionate tripod with endless love to give, while Leia is a gentle, sweet orange tabby who brings calm and comfort. Together, they make the perfect pair – affectionate, easygoing, and grateful for every bit of kindness.

Indie has had quite the journey…she was rescued from another shelter’s euthanasia list and went right into a foster home for some much needed TLC. After an enucleation surgery at CatNap she is feeling much more comfortable and is ready to find a forever home! Indie does well with other pets/kids so any home is the purr-fect fit for this one eyed beauty!

What could be better than adopting an adorable addition to the family? Purchasing a new piece of jewelry in support of a local non-profit! Catnap will be partnering with Kendra Scott on FRIDAY AUGUST 29TH from 5-7pm at their location in Oakbrook. We will have a variety of kittens for adoption and all customers who mention CatNap from the Heart during the event will contribute 20% of their purchase to our shelter! Even if you can’t make it out to Oakbrook on the 29th, you can still shop online using the promo code located on the flyer below! Wolverine recently returned to CatNap from his foster home, where he spent his days wrestling with foster siblings and playing with awesome toys! Congratulations, to our wonderful adopters this week! We are thankful you partnered with us to save lives! 🛟

This week: 17 adoptions!

🐾 4 cats and 13 kittens were adopted!
🚘 51 kittens and cats were surrendered/transferred in.
🐈 We are currently caring for 141 total felines in-house…65 kittens and 76 cats!
🏠 We currently have 276 kittens/cats being fostered!
👩‍⚕️We completed 68 spays and neuters this week alone!

The third week of Clear the Shelters is upon us, and we need YOUR help to complete this week’s challenge. Beginning August 19th at 1pm, Hill’s Science Diet will be matching the first $5000 in donations dollar for dollar! This match is available to all shelters participating in the Clear the Shelters event, so time is of the essence! ⏰

Our Annual Tilly’s Treasures Vendor Market is only ONE MONTH away! We have been working hard to put together a one-of-a-kind day full of local businesses, yummy food and adorable kittens. But one thing is missing…the raffle table! 🤔
Last year, our raffle table was a HUGE hit—from sports tickets to fish tanks to movie night baskets, there was something for everyone! Now, we need your help to make this year’s table EVEN BETTER! If you, or someone you know, works at or owns a business (food, clothing, entertainment, activities, etc.) we would love any donations of gift cards/vouchers to bring attention to your business and add to the fun on September 14th.
Other Donations We Will Accept for the Raffle Table:
*Unused gift cards (food, shopping, visa, etc.)
*sports tickets
*new cat toys/treats/trees/accessories
*nonperishable snack foods/candy
