While the importance of spay/neuter usually takes center stage here at CatNap, we can’t forget to keep our fur-babies up to date on vaccines!
🌟 Annual vaccines protect against dangerous diseases such as rabies, panleukopenia, rhinotracheitis and calici that have the potential to make our companions very sick. We know that cost can have an impact on the decision to vaccinate, so we are thrilled to announce our Vaccine Clinic, which will be taking place SATURDAY, JUNE 20TH at CatNap from the Heart from 8-4pm.
💉 We will be offering two vaccines: FVRCP & Rabies. Rabies vaccines will cost $5.00 but we have received a generous grant from Petco to cover the cost of our FVRCP vaccines making them free to the public!
💉 In order to accommodate as many people as possible and to streamline your experience, we will be booking appointments ahead of time with slots opening TUESDAY, MAY 19TH. Give us a call at 7083523914 to provide your information and reserve an appointment.
Note: We will have space for walk-ins on the 20th, but booking ahead of time will reduce wait time and the stress on our patients!

Start off every morning right with the Breakfast Litter! 🤩 This fun group will be at CatNap this Saturday from 11-3pm!
🥞 Pancake - This sweet gal will take some time to warm up and definitely is a one person at a time girl. Once she adjusts, though, she’ll be the perfect couch companion for you and yours! Pancakes ideal home can have other calm cats, but she’s also happy to be your one and only!
🍪 Chocolate Chip (boy)— This playful guy is very very sweet, outgoing, would do well in any type of home!
🤎Nutella (girl)— she may take a little time to adjust in a new environment, but Nutella still loves to play and sunbathe, and would also do well great with other pets/kids!
🍯 Honey (girl)— This fun girl is as sweet as her name! She loves meeting new people and has a crazy side when it comes to toys. Honey would be the purr-fect fit for any family!
😍Sausage (boy)— Looking for a lovable kittens to snuggle with and make you laugh? Sausage is your guy! This go with the flow kitten can’t wait to find a forever home full of fun toys and lots of love!

These five adorable 8-week-old kittens are ready to steal hearts, melt your stress away, and fill your home with tiny paw prints, big purrs, and endless entertainment!

The Hart’s Litter is playful, curious, cuddly, silly, and full of kitten magic. Whether they are pouncing on toys, climbing into cozy spots, wrestling with each other, or looking up at you with those “take me home” eyes, these babies are everything you could hope for in a kitten.

Meet Janelle! This lovely lady just came to us from another overcrowded shelter! Her ideal home has no other pets but lots of cozy beds to nap in and people to spoil her. Stop by during our open hours and give this lovely lady some snuggles! 🥰

Even though Kitten Season is currently in full swing, we can’t forget about our amazing adults! 🤩
From retired mom cats who work hard to raise a family to stray cats being given a second chance, these amazing felines sometimes have the biggest hearts of all ❤️
But we can’t help this many adults without food, and our dry food stores are getting pretty low! 😱
We are in need of donations of Adult IAMS Dry Food (Chicken Flavor). Donations will be accepted any time during our open hours or can be mailed to 1101 Beach Ave in Lagrange Park. Even the smallest size bag can help keep our cats happy and healthy as they wait for the purr-fect home! 🏡

Thank you so much for everyone who came out to support us at the Annual Pet Parade in Lagrange today! 🤩
We had a blast in our F•R•I•E•N•D•S themed float and loved handing out toys and candy while playing some awesome throwback tunes 🎶

These five siblings just came back from their foster home in the hopes that their family is in a galaxy (not so) far far away! They absolutely love feather wands and crinkle balls and would do great with other pets/kids!

We are looking for hardworking and dedicated high schoolers to fill the position of Part-Time Kennel Technician and Adoption Counselor on Saturdays & Sundays. Duties include cleaning kennels, washing dishes/litter boxes, folding laundry, sweeping/mopping and finding good homes for many of our cats/kittens. Your commitment will make a direct impact on the lives of so many cats here at the shelter, which means we’ll be able to save even more lives this year!

Strawberry is as sweet as her fruity name! Even though she only has one eye, we think she’s absolutely adorable! Strawberry would do great with other pets/kids, so any home is purr-fect for her! 🍓
