We are seeing a uptick of Lymes and Anaplasmosis in horses and dogs. Typical signs are lethargy and lameness and we can easily test your animals with a blood test. We have lyme's vaccine for dogs and very effective tick control medicines -testing dogs just takes 10 minutes for a tick panel and heartworm. Horses have their blood work sent out for analysis.

We just opened the Sweet Surgery Suite in La Farge! Performing Spay/Neuter surgeries on local cats. Monthly on Mondays, we neuter a couple of dogs. We have in house lab and pharmacy and hope to get gas anesthesia next year so that we can offer dentals and dog spays. Dr Grade and her team will continue going out for farm calls and will come to your house for pets (vaccinations, lab work, wellness exams, puppy health checks and, when needed home euthanasia).

There'll be a vaccine day the last Wednesday of January and February in C**n Valley at the Cat Snips building from 9-4. Call and/leave a message to get an appointment at 608-625-2992. Let us know how many animals you'd like to bring in and what work you'd like to get done. This is NOT for sick animals, this is a community wellness clinic. The appointment times are loose -just let us know about what time you're coming so it doesn't get too crowded. For example, 9-10am, or 1-2 etc. Core vaccines, blood work, microchip -just the basics.
