Ten month old Britta vom Theiss scored a 72 on her VJP this weekend. She had an 11 on pointing and cooperation and 10 for search, tracking and use of nose. Her litter mate, Bruno vom Theiss recently received a score of 74. These are VERY good scores.

Florida suits Britta well. Eight months old and loving the gecko, iguana, pelicans and ibis life for now. Soon she will be training with pheasants, ducks and rabbits, then the first puppy test in April.

The Drahthaars are now 11 weeks old and have found their forever hunting homes! We're pretty sure we nailed it with these placements. Boz aka 'Henry' is living his best life in Wisconsin, where there is lots of hunting. His owners got one of our puppies 30 years ago, and we still enjoy hearing stories about Bud. Brix is rocking it in Ohio with Adele's brother, Ace, who is now 7. Bruno jet-setted to California and is thriving in Sonoma Valley. Last but not least, our Britta is crushing it as a Minnesota/Florida pup with her mom Adele and grandma Ellie. Training is underway, and little Miss Britta is already showing off her independent streak by holding her own leash!

The vom Theiss Drahthaars explored the bike trail alongside the Mississippi River, with the pups directing their attention primarily towards Adele and Ellie, their mother and grandmother. Everyone had a lot of fun!

The pups are whistled trained for meal time. They are all running for their kibble.

At four weeks old, the puppies have started to eat kibble and are now exploring the backyard.

We have one puppy left that is not spoken for. His name is Bruno and it fits him perfectly. He is 3 weeks old, strong and very playful. He will be ready to go to his new home towards the end of July.
