This is too good not to share. As a parent of 2 girls who grew up in 4-H, the life skills they've learned are irreplaceable, the friends they've made are longstanding and true. As a family, we have and continue to be involved in 4-H it is fulfilling and rewarding. Just do it, I can help.

Put a kid in 4-H.
No really. Put a kid in 4-H! Give them the opportunity to gain real, lasting life skills that will shape who they become long after childhood is over.
4-H is more than raising animals. Itâs more than ribbons and fairs. 4-H gives kids a place to belong. It gives them a community. It teaches them how to win with grace and lose with dignity. It shows them how to work hard for something and see it through to the end.
And the best part? Thereâs a place for every kid.
Not every child has land, money, or the ability to raise livestock, and they donât have to. 4-H offers opportunities in art, cooking, photography, mechanics, public speaking, leadership, livestock judging, and so much more. It allows kids to explore their interests, discover passions they didnât even know they had, and build confidence in who they are.
Put a kid in 4-H and watch them grow.
Watch them learn responsibility by caring for something that depends on them. Watch them develop discipline when they have to show up every day, even when they donât feel like it. Watch them gain confidence when they step into a ring, present a project, or speak in front of a crowd.
In a world where so much feels uncertain, where we question what we hear, what weâre taught, and even what we eat, give a kid something real.
Teach them where their food comes from.
Teach them the value of hard work.
Teach them that success doesnât happen overnight.
Teach them that failure isnât the end, itâs just part of the process.
Give them the chance to raise something, build something, create something, something they can be proud of.
Give them the opportunity to learn humility, respect, patience, and perseverance. Because when a kid realizes the world doesnât revolve around them, but that they do have a meaningful place in it, thatâs when growth really happens.
4-H doesnât just build projects.
It builds character.
It builds leaders.
It builds future farmers, business owners, teachers, parents, and community members.
Put a kid in 4-H⌠and youâre not just investing in their future, youâre investing in all of ours!
PUT A KID IN 4-H! đ
