We have some adorable guests for Thanksgiving this year ♡ Meet Midge & Ange! Yes, we've already determined Ange was named after OUR Ange just KNOWING our worlds would intersect one day! These 2 Beagle sisters are spending the weekend with us & the troops!

Their mom founded a non-profit serving our community called Sheltered - Rescue Reimagined. The focus is helping those in domestic violence situations who may be staying for the sake & safety of their pets. Sheltered provides immediate foster care for the pets involved while their owner seeks out the help they need to be safe themselves. When they get back on their feet, their pets come home with them ♡

These girls get along so well, Sausage has a block if wood 🪵 🙄 trying to get Ari to give up the cow hoof 🤣 they're each chewing in each other's lap ❤️ Ari goes home tomorrow, what oh what is Sausage going to do?!?

Silly pups... they both were so excited to see one another, they ran SO HARD! By 8pm, both were sound asleep 😴 haven't heard a peep. Theyre going to sleep good tonight!

The Sausage is playing with enrichment toys this afternoon. Here was our first - level 1 difficulty is NOT made for a 10mth old pitbull lol - TOO EASY!! 🤣

Had a long day at work & were unable to walk the dog? RUN THROUGH SOME OBEDIENCE! Mike had Sausage out tonight before bed as she was quite wound up! They "played" through some obedience before bed, and she slept like a log!

The mental stimulation of running through obedience is exercise! Not to mention it strengthens the bond you have with your dog, AND it strengthens your dogs commands!

Everyone assumes yes of course my dog knows SIT... It never hurts to run through those commands! Your dog is proud of themselves! No treats needed, No Training tools needed. Enjoy your dog. Because I can promise you, your dog enjoys every minute you can spend together! Strengthen that bond by daily obedience work! Just watch The Sausage tail, and yes it's dark (I was stalking them through the window) you can see by her body language how much this goofy pittie LIVES and LOVES to work!
