We are not just rescue, because we don’t want to rescue we want to help our communities here on Pine Ridge keep their animals healthy and cut the amount of unwanted litters by spay neuter. We are so thankful to our team for preforming 106 surgeries last weekend so 106 animals aren’t reproducing. On top of that we had more come in for vaccinations, deworming and flea/tick medication. We were lucky enough to be able to give away food, collars, leashes, pet supplies and Dr Jess had fun dressing patients after surgery in a new outfit to go home with thanks to clothing donations. We all had smiles over how cute everyone was. Thankful to our OPP team for set up and all the hard work over the weekend. Thankful to Thunder Valley for hosting us in this new location. It was a great two days!

Is anyone out there looking for a pickleball partner? Discus has now been in foster care for a year! She came in as part of a litter of five, and is still holding out hope that her family is out there. She has never met a cat toy she doesn't like, she will talk your ear off if it's dinner time, and she gets along great with other cats and dogs. She likes her personal space, but enjoy hanging out in the cat tree.

My name is Nala, I am a corgi/pug mix that was born in January of 2022. I am spayed, up to date on vaccines and flea and tick. I am kennel trained and working on other commands, like sit, stay. I know the commands “kennel” and “outside. I am potty trained on a schedule. I really enjoy toys and treats. I eat in my kennel, twice a day. I do have a wonky front leg, but it doesn’t bug me or hold me back at all, I was born with it that way. I would do better in a home as the only dog and without any cat friends. I really just want to have my own dog mom and/or dad who can be dedicated to just me. I love attention and giving love. From going on small walks or just lounging on the couch, I just want to be by you.

These two brothers are looking for their forever homes. They have been in foster care since newborn age and it’s time for homes with their own families. Meet Sterling. He’s a six month old 35-40lb Rez mix. This pup is as sweet as his little face looks. He does well with other dogs and doesn’t bother the cats. He loves to snuggle and give kisses. He’s doing great with potty training. He will more than likely require regular grooming to keep his coat nice. Applications for this little fuzz ball can be requested by emailing [email protected]

Missy wants to wish all of you a Happy Mother’s Day and in doing so also hopes that her future mom is out there. Missy is an over the top sweet husky girl with lots of energy to burn. She does great with other dogs and doesn’t mind cats. She’s working on potty training and basic commands but Missy also is mostly deaf except high pitched sounds. That doesn’t make her any less sweet, she just needs the perfect family. Missy is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and dewormed. Applications can be requested by emailing [email protected]

Zara…. She spent almost the first year of her life in foster care until this awesome family heard about OPP. Last night she joined a family, a real family to call her own. We are so excited for her to make new memories on all her future adventures. Happy Adoption Day Zara!
